Company History

Tri County Records Management Center, Inc., D/B/A Hill’s Van Service of Marion County, traces its roots back to 1951, when the grandfather of one of its owners founded Hill’s Mayflower and Hill’s United Van Lines.

Over the years, the Hill family continued its tradition of moving families and businesses locally, nationally and internationally. The founder retired and two sons took over the agencies, one with Mayflower, and one with United Van Lines.

In 1997, the founder’s granddaughter, Mary Hall and her husband, James, purchased the Mayflower agency from her father. They have a combined experience of more than 50 years in the moving and storage business. Hill’s Van Service of Marion County is proud to have joined the Wheaton World Wide Moving family in 2024. Wheaton became the first carrier in the nation to hold complete 50-state authority from the Interstate Commerce Commission in 1973. The van line is a partner to the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM), and to Give Kids The World, an 89-acre, nonprofit "storybook" resort in Central Florida where children with critical illnesses and their families are treated to weeklong, cost-free vacations.

Over the years, Hill’s Van Service of Marion County has handled thousands of moves. It is this wealth of experience that we will continue to apply in refining our level of service quality for you- our customer.
